Description
White truffle olive oil
The white truffle olive oil : its aromas have conquered the tables of 3-star chefs – Pierre Gagnaire, Michel Troisgros, Thomas Keller, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Heinz Beck. Or even stars like Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Armando Manni is an Italian filmmaker passionate about olive oil. When his son Lorenzo was born in 1997, Manni became alert to the environmental conditions and the world he would like to leave to his son. With the mad cow crisis, he decides to change the course of his life.
Hand picked, olives pressed in the purest tradition. And a special opaque glass to combat oxidation caused by air. These are the secrets of this exceptional olive oil.
After four years of close scientific collaboration with the University of Florence, Manni sees two organic oils, “Per me” (for me) and “Per mio figlio” (for my child) -certified by a Protected Geographical Indication- born in the fall of 2001.
Their rate of polyphenols (antioxidants) is twice that of traditional olive oil.
A production of only 3,000 liters per year. A soft and subtle oil. The most refined and luxurious being with white truffle. It is only sold on Manni’s online store. It will be necessary to order a minimum of five boxes of two bottles at CHF 60.- per box. It is the most expensive olive oil in the world, at CHF 300.- for 1 litre (white truffle olive oil).
